The Health Wagon proudly celebrated the success of Davey’s Annual Back-to-School Shuffle every summer at the Shelcy Mullins Sr. Fairgrounds.
Attracting over 2,000 attendees, the event provides more than 1,000 backpacks filled with essential school supplies to children and distributes household goods, clothing, shoes, and hygiene products. Families enjoy a day of fun, with dance contests, raffle prizes, and bicycle giveaways.
This event, named in honor of David Meade, Health Wagon’s late Development Director who devoted his life to planning community outreaches, is a testament to our commitment to addressing the social determinants of health and fostering a supportive, healthy environment for our community.
