The Health Wagon proudly celebrated the success of Davey’s 4th Annual Back-to-School Shuffle on August 1st at the Shelcy Mullins Sr. Fairgrounds.
With over 2,000 attendees, the event provided 1,200 backpacks filled with essential school supplies to children and distributed more than $110,000 worth of items, including household goods, clothing, shoes, and hygiene products. Families enjoyed a day of fun, with a dance contest, raffle prizes, and bicycle giveaways.

- Over 1,500 clothing items,
- Over 300 pairs of shoes,
- 20 bicycles, and
- Various makeup items, hygiene products, and baby essentials.
This event, named in honor of David Meade, Health Wagon’s late Development Director who devoted his life to planning community outreaches, is a testament to our commitment to addressing the social determinants of health and fostering a supportive, healthy environment for our community.
